What this is
A search box over the free maths material that already exists on the web. Exam board past papers, mark schemes and examiner reports from AQA, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC — with Eduqas, CCEA and SQA alongside them, and Functional Skills and Entry Level as well as GCSE and A Level — and the topic worksheets and practice papers published by Corbettmaths, Maths Genie, Dr Austin Maths and Physics & Maths Tutor.
The UK Maths Trust competitions are here as well — the Junior, Intermediate and Senior Challenges, the Kangaroos, the Cayley, Hamilton and Maclaurin olympiads, the Team Maths Challenges, and the British Mathematical Olympiad going back to 1972 — along with the international papers the UK olympiad team publishes.
University admissions tests are here too — MAT, STEP, TMUA and ESAT — taken from Oxford, Cambridge, OCR and the ESAT/TMUA site. Only the universities' own copies are linked, so the years they have taken down are simply not here.
It is free, there is no account, and there is nothing to buy. It exists because the material is scattered: knowing that a June 2023 AQA Higher paper and a Corbettmaths worksheet on the same topic both exist is easy, and finding them both in under a minute is not.
Two links sit in the corner of the page: a tip jar, and somewhere to leave an email address if you want to hear when new material is added. Neither changes anything. Every link here is free whether anybody ever uses them or not, nothing is held back, and no part of the index is reserved for people who have paid or subscribed.
What it is not
It is not a library. No paper or worksheet is stored here. Every result is a link, and every link opens on the site that made the thing — the board's own website for a past paper, the teacher's own website for a worksheet. Nothing is copied, re-hosted, framed, embedded, re-branded or wrapped in advertising, and the index carries no advertising of its own.
Follow a link and you are on somebody else's site, under their terms, with their name on the page. That is the point. Traffic that would otherwise be lost to a bad Google search goes to the person who did the work.
Every result is a PDF. Videos, topic pages, editable Word copies and zip bundles are not indexed, even where the publisher offers them — including a few exam board papers that are only published inside an archive. A search here returns papers you can open and read, and nothing that has to be unpacked, played or clicked through first.
Where the links come from
- Exam boards. Collected from each board's own public search endpoint, so every link points at the board that set the paper. No board paper is ever linked through a third party's copy of it.
- Corbettmaths, Maths Genie, Dr Austin Maths and Physics & Maths Tutor. Read from each site's own public contents page or sitemap, and then narrowed to the work that is actually theirs — their own worksheets, notes and practice papers, not the exam board questions some of them also host.
- Functional Skills. Taken from Pearson's own search index and AQA's, which between them publish far more than the earlier scrape found. The twelve Edexcel papers that need a centre login are not linked, and neither are the AQA files marked for teachers.
- UKMT. From UKMT's own free past paper listing, and from the olympiad subtrust's site at bmos.ukmt.org.uk. The papers UKMT sells in its shop are not linked, and neither are the resources it reserves for registered centres.
- Admissions tests. Oxford for the MAT, OCR and Cambridge for STEP, the ESAT/TMUA site for the TMUA. Other sites hold copies of these papers covering years the universities no longer publish; those are not linked.
The rule
Every link goes to material published by whoever owns it. A board's paper links to that board's own server. A teacher's worksheet links to that teacher's own site. A university's admissions paper links to the university.
That rules out a large amount of material which is free to download and easy to find: exam board questions re-cut by topic on a revision site, worked answers to textbooks that are sold, one site's copy of another's past papers. Whether those copies are licensed is not something this index can know, so it does not point at them. Roughly seven thousand links came out on that basis, and the sites they came from are still here for the work that is genuinely their own.

Every paper and worksheet linked here belongs to whoever made it, and this index makes no claim on any of it. Linking to a page that its owner has already published free to the public is not copying it and does not republish it; copying it would be, which is why nothing is copied.
Terms attached to a resource — personal and classroom use, no redistribution, no commercial exploitation — travel with the file to whoever downloads it from the publisher's own site. They are unaffected by a link, and they are worth reading and respecting when you get there.

Freshness
The index is rebuilt from the sources periodically, and links are checked when it is rebuilt. Links do break: sites move files without warning. If one is dead, the publisher's own site is the place to look, and a note here will get it fixed.
